Cordura Fabric: Which Denier & Finish Actually Saves You Money? (A Procurement Manager’s Perspective)

  2. What’s your production volume? – Under 1,000 units? Laser cutting is cost-effective. Over 5,000? Consider die-cutting.
  3. What’s the weight limit? – If your product spec caps weight, lighter denier + smart reinforcement (like double-layered bottom) beats heavy denier any day.
  4. Are you chasing a “premium” label? – 1680D might sell better in a showroom, but if the customer never pushes it to the limit, you’re just burning margin.

A quick note on polyester vs. Cordura
